A British utility consultancy that puts compliance on the page — not in the small print.
We were founded in 2018 by two former supplier-side energy procurement leads who had spent a decade watching customers — domestic and commercial — overpay because the market was opaque, the contracts were dense and the regulators were behind. We started British Energy Compliance to do something simple: give every customer the same quality of independent advice that the supplier-side teams gave themselves.
Four lines we do not cross.
Every member of the team — consultants, casework, procurement and legal liaison — signs up to these. They are not marketing copy; they are how we hire and how we fire.
Disclosure on every quote
Our commission, in pounds and in p/kWh, appears on every quote you see — before you sign anything. No exceptions, no exotic structures.
Plain-English casework
Energy is full of acronyms. We translate them. Every report we issue can be read end-to-end without a glossary.
Independent of every supplier
We are not a re-seller, not a managed service of any supplier, and not part of a buying group. Our advice is ours.
One file, every utility
Gas, electricity, water and disputes under one engagement, one team, one renewal calendar.
